Artist's Comments

This is another picture of the famous torii gate, this is from the temple inside the bay. Its low tide, so theres some land visible, and when its really low tide, you can see the little stone pathway out to it.

In one of the tourbooks I was reading while over there, it said at low tide you could walk out to it. We weren't around at low low tide, but by the looks of it in this photo you probably could walk out to it, I dunno if they'd get mad or something...I wouldn't want buddhist monks mad at me, especially when I can't understand what they're saying.
